Leo's first visit to Austin he
played the Armadillo World Headquarters, the
"Fillmore of Austin" whose artist, Jim Franklin,
was responsible for armidillos appearing in
posters, album covers, and beer commercials. Jim,
who drew Charles Manson during his trial (no
photos), said Leo's visit to Austin was the second
coming of the messiah (due to the cover).
Annie Elliot
drew the original armadillo
logo.
